Meet Ms. WilleyI am thrilled to be a part of the FDR team! I moved to Peru to teach 6th grade Math and Science.
During my career, I have taught in the United States, Hong Kong, Argentina, and Malaysia. Most recently, I instructed grade 6 math and science and served on the Middle School Leadership Team at the American International School of Hong Kong. Teaching overseas provides me the opportunity to learn about new cultures while pursuing my passion for teaching. In my free time, I love to travel. Recently, I surfed in El Salvador, visited the Copan Ruin in Honduras, and biked, kayaked and hiked Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. Over the past 16 years, I have taught math, science, communication arts, and social studies at the middle school level, and co-instructed two graduate level field ecology courses at Montana State University. I hold a Masters of Science in Science Education from Montana State University and teaching degree from Western Washington University. |
